Our logs are supplied in bulk bags or plastic bags. The 1.2m3 or 1.6m3 bulk bags are tied at the top, these are showerproof but if the logs are to be stored in them outside we recommend covering with a tarpaulin. Unlike some other companies we do not recommend removing the logs from our bags – they are dry and will not “sweat”! Our plastic bags measure approximately 60cm x 25cm x 18cm (24″ x 10″ x 7″), if storage space under cover is limited they can be kept outside but we would recommend keeping them off the ground (e.g. on a pallet or battens) and covered with a tarpaulin.
To compare prices the 1.2m3 bulk bag contains approximately the same amount of logs as 27 of the plastic bags, the 1.6m3 bulk bag the same amount as 37 bags. The plastic bags will take up less room for the same quantity of logs as they are packed tightly whereas the buk bags are loose filled.
