Our logs are supplied in bulk bags or plastic bags. The 1.2m3 or 1.6m3 bulk bags are tied at the top, these are showerproof but if the logs are to be stored in them outside we recommend covering with a tarpaulin. Unlike some other companies we do not recommend removing the logs from our bags – they are dry and will not “sweat”! Our plastic bags measure approximately 60cm x 25cm x 18cm (24″ x 10″ x 7″), if storage space under cover is limited they can be kept outside but we would recommend keeping them off the ground (e.g. on a pallet or battens) and covered with a tarpaulin.

The plastic bags will take up less room for the same quantity of logs as they are packed tightly whereas the buk bags are loose filled.

Deliveries are made using our luton van. The bulk bags are on pallets and where possible we can put them under cover e.g. in a garage or car port as long as we can conditions are suitable for our pallet truck .  Where access is difficult we can leave the bags as close as we get for you or empty the bulk bags and stack by hand in which case an additional charge will apply. The plastic bags will be carried and stacked and so may be a better option where access is difficult.

We have found a local supplier of hardwood briquettes, if you let us know what you think about them we will give you a free bag to try with every log order, we can supply briquettes only at the same price as the bags of logs or you can have a mixed delivery to take advantage of quantity discounts.
